Red and Orange and Yellow and Green,
Blue and Pink and Purple
Today I saw a rainbow, in the middle of two worlds, one of a strange blue tinge of the east, and the other, a rusty orange of the west.
I can sing a rainbow,
Sing a rainbow,
Sing a rainbow too
I walked under it, me trudging into the blue with my back facing the setting sun, enjoying the sprinkling, bringing back sweet memories. I wished that once I walked passed it, I would be sucked into a new world. A world of happiness, smiles and laughter, eyes with twinkles in them. To play among the stars, to be close together. A world I knew not long ago. Just no more misery, no more longing. Just the world I wanted it to be, the world I needed it to be.
Listen with your eyes,
Listen with your ears,
And sing everything you see
But there was no magic, for when I looked up again, the rainbow had disappeared.
I can sing a rainbow,
Sing a rainbow,
Sing along with me
